“我喜欢的不是静止，而是永恒”

蜡是一种可以随着温度的变化，在液态与固态之间随意切换的事物。被它封印的物品，仿佛立刻拥有了一种看似永恒但却可能被改写的历史。司马源将那些平时会被人开关、涂抹、交换或搭建的事物与蜡“发生关系”并拥有了暂时的“永恒性”。但似乎这种永恒性也是可以被随时摧毁的。

“It Is Not the Stillness That I Fancy, It Is the Eternity”

Wax is a thing that can be switched between liquid and solid as the temperature changes. Items sealed by it seem to have a history that can be eternal but in fact rewritten. Sima Yuan related things that would normally be opened and closed, exchanged or built together with wax and possessed a temporary “eternity”. But it seems that the so called “eternity” can be destroyed at any time.
