Sima的料理

新冠疫情的爆发和直播App的兴起，使大部分人宅在家中并开始通过屏幕来展示一切、了解一切。司马源利用网络社交App和直播App这两种媒介，使观众参与到自己的创作中来。司马源让观众用微信点菜、提要求、下单并发红包给她。然后她把做菜过程直播给他们看，最后在网络上与他们一起“云吃”。如果在同城，她就利用当地的物流软件“闪送”将菜速递给他们。司马源通过这一作品，思考了在“后疫情时代”，艺术家、观众、藏家和展览空间之间的关系将如何发生转变。

Sima’s Cuisine

The outbreak of COVID-19 and the rise of live streaming apps have caused most people to stay at home and start to show and understand everything through the screen. Sima Yuan uses two mediums, social networking apps and live streaming apps, to make audiences participate in her works. Sima Yuan asked viewers to use WeChat to order dishes, make requests and pay her. Then she showed her cooking process to them with video chat and had a “cloud dinner” with them through live stream app. If she was in the same city as the audience, she used the local logistics app to deliver the real dishes to them. Through this project, Sima Yuan tests how the relationship between artists, audiences, collectors and exhibition spaces will change in the “post-epidemic era”.
